Crank & Slider Mechanism - GeoGebra Dynamic Worksheet

This mechanism is used to convert rotary motion to translatory motion and visa-verse. The slider moves with crank head and hence piston performs Simple Harmonic Motion(SHM) The applet shows this graph of piston head. Click button to start animation.

The applet uses trace of a point which moves in x direction with piston and in y direction with theta the angle of rotation.
